Family in North Idaho

Boden and Jett sharing breakfast with Farley on the front porch of Ty's parents house.
We took a road trip around the end of July to see them. We had a lot of fun and the boys didn't want to leave.

We went to a new park down by the spokane river where this weird statue caught our attention for quite some time. We agreed that it look like the wicked witch on The Wizard of Oz.
The weather was perfect, it nice break from the desert heat. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying it. The Larsens have a huge yard surrounded by trees. We saw lots of deer, a chipmunk, a family of quails and a robin (who made her home on the back porch).
Grandma Lisa bought a race car that is powered by pressured air and water. The car was supposed to go like a 100ft, but the pump didn't seem to work. We took it back and the second pump didn't work either, so Papa CJ had a great idea to hook it up to the air compressor! The car ended up flying down their long driveway and the boys shouted "again, again!"

Jett relaxing in the hammock

Papa CJ made some delicious Dutch Oven Potatoes.
Ty's parents always take such good care of us.
The boys had so much fun hunting animals around the yard with aunt Tasha, and their collection of stick guns. She even took them digging for worms and slugs, what an awesome aunt!
